Traffic Coordinator Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Traffic Coordinator Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the broadcast operations group, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of programming and commercial breaks. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling Management: Review, organize, and input commercial breaks into the playout system, ensuring accurate scheduling and timely execution.
  • Content Coordination: Ensure the correct scheduling of content, promos, and commercials in accordance with programming instructions (PIs).
  • Material Control: Verify the availability, technical quality, and proper naming of all materials scheduled for broadcast.
  • Documentation Receipt: Receive and verify CRTs and other necessary documentation.
  • Operational Adjustments: Perform last-minute adjustments as requested by the Programming Coordination team.
  • Collaboration and Execution: Work with the transmission coordinator to execute programming instructions during live events, addressing failures, delays, or emergency changes.
  • Data Collection: Gather and organize data related to commercial airings.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English and Portuguese, with exceptional communication skills.
  • Experience: Previous experience in traffic, broadcast scheduling, or media operations.
  • Familiarity: Familiarity with playout systems and scheduling tools.
  • Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of video formats and broadcast standards.
  • Organizational Skills: Proficiency in Excel and strong organizational skills for managing materials and reports.
