The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating logistics operations, ensuring smooth communication between stakeholders. Key responsibilities include arranging transportation, executing bookings, and completing assessments.
- Anticipate and respond to customer needs in a timely manner.
- Coordinate logistics operations to ensure efficient delivery of goods.
- Arrange transportation and execute bookings to meet customer requirements.
- Complete assessments to determine the best possible method for cargo movement.
- Act as a single point of contact for customers.
- Familiarity with shipping dangerous goods and oversized cargo.
- Prepare accurate paperwork for delay-free forwarding.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and third-party cargo handlers.
- Successful completion of training in freight forwarding and work experience in the industry.
- Proven track record of successfully executed logistics operations.
- Knowledge of transporting oversized cargo over land and sea.
- Good organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks.
