Propulsion Systems Design and Development Specialist

At Boeing Brazil, we're looking for an experienced Structural Analysis Engineer to join our team. This role involves working on structural requirements development, integration, and documentation to establish system design.
The selected candidate will work closely with other engineering groups to ensure product environment, analytical methods, finite element models/simulations, and other analysis tools are developed throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develop and document structural requirements to establish system design
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product meets requirements and specifications
- Conduct structural integrity analysis using finite element models and simulations
- Support test planning, execution, and result analysis to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements
- Document certification and test results to substantiate customer and regulatory agency requirements
- Investigate failures and analyze improvements for in-service products
This role requires a strong background in structural engineering, experience with finite element analysis methods, and proficiency in both verbal and written communications skills.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in structural analysis methods and tools, design and analysis of metallic and/or composite materials, durability and damage tolerance analysis, compliance demonstration for regulatory requirements, and Fleet Support and Repair design and substantiation.
This is a locally hired position in Brazil, and candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in the country. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level.
