Job Title: Directional Drilling Supervisor
Are you a skilled professional seeking a challenging role in directional drilling? Look no further As a Directional Drilling Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the on-site supervision of the directional drilling process, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and used. Your expertise in bottom hole assembly selection and aspects of directional drilling performance will be invaluable to our team.
Responsibilities:
  • Under general supervision, provides on-site supervision of the directional drilling (DD) process including projection of well path to predetermined target coordinates.
  • Serves in a subordinate role on any job, understanding principles of Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA) selection and aspects of DD performance.
  • Ensures that BHA's are assembled as planned, including correct make-up torque, doping, and handling.
  • Proficient in the use of DD computer software and able to assist in provision of advice and analysis to the client representative at the well site.
  • Provides accurate directional survey data, aware of client's requirements with regards to surveying procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Requires completion of a high school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of two years of field experience in Directional Drilling, L/MWD, or SDL.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a STEM discipline is preferred.
