Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support our HR Manager in day-to-day HR operations. This role involves payroll administration, HR systems management, internal communications, and compliance reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for entering and verifying timekeeping data from Square into Paylocity, supporting weekly and monthly payroll processing, troubleshooting employee timecard issues, generating reports, and maintaining historical data for HR and compliance audits.

  • Enter and verify timekeeping data from Square into Paylocity
  • Support weekly and monthly payroll processing
  • Troubleshoot employee timecard issues and reset Paylocity login credentials
  • Generate reports and maintain historical data for HR and compliance audits

The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of Paylocity, Square, Slack, Google Drive, and Indeed. They should also be able to monitor and respond to HR inquiries, escalate complex employee relations issues, draft job descriptions, post job openings, and publish internal HR newsletters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor Slack and email for HR inquiries and triage or escalate as appropriate
  • Escalate complex employee relations issues to the HR Manager
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience with HR systems and software.
