Piping Design Specialist

A leading organization seeks a skilled piping designer to join their team.
- Develop conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering for industrial piping systems;
- Prepare technical project documentation, including piping layouts, isometrics, material lists, and engineering diagrams;
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2–3 years of experience in the development of conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering for industrial piping systems.
Key Responsibilities- Support engineers with flexibility analysis (using Caesar II) and calculations involving pumps, compressors, and utility systems;
- Ensure that all documentation complies with industry standards, procedures, and applicable codes;
- Proficiency in preparing technical project documentation, including piping layout drawings, isometrics, MTOs, bill of materials, engineering flow diagrams, pipe supports, calculations, and technical reports;
- Advanced knowledge in 3D design platforms, particularly AutoCAD Plant 3D and SmartPlant;
- Solid understanding of national and international standards such as AWS D1.1, ASME/ANSI B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ASME VIII Div. I, II & III, API 610, API 661, API 650, API 560, NEMA 23, among others;
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team and under supervision;
