Capital Adequacy Expert

We are seeking an experienced Capital Adequacy expert to lead our Capital Adequacy & Reporting area. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the area, ensuring the quality of information that impacts capital management, and supporting senior leaders in key committees.

  • Manage the Capital Adequacy & Reporting area, overseeing a team of 3 headcounts.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Brazil Basel III capital requirements, regulatory reporting requirements, and mitigation procedures.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and ensure preparation and execution of RWA process, regulatory capital production, and effective communication with other actors.
  • Submit reports to local regulators, including DLO, DDR, DRM, DRL, LEC, Pilar 3, IRRBB, and RA.
  • Calculate Prudential Capital (CET1, T1, and Total Capital) and monitor daily Market Risk (DDR) and Local Legal Lending limit (LEC).
  • Ensure consistency of exposures between Accounting and Risk or other source systems.
  • Analyze and synthesize movements in products and variations in reports.
  • Monitor Prudential Limits and request action if they are not in compliance.
  • Participate in local committees, including Alco, ALMT, Audit, Capital, Credit Risk, and Market Risk.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in administration, economics, accounting, engineering, or related areas.
  • Fluent English and Portuguese.
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced technical skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Power BI, Python, and Alteryx preferred qualifications.
  • Experience in financial institutions, preferably in risk and regulatory reporting activities for CIB Banks.
