The Director of Operational Excellence plays a pivotal role in advancing People Operations & Insights strategy. This senior-level position is responsible for leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, drive innovation, and improve user experience across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Program & Portfolio Leadership: Lead the end-to-end execution of large-scale, cross-functional transformation initiatives. Build and manage integrated project plans, ensuring alignment with the broader organizational roadmap and business objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with key internal stakeholders to coordinate efforts, manage dependencies, and resolve roadblocks across workstreams.
- Governance & Reporting: Establish and maintain reporting mechanisms to communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership and steering committees.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within operational processes. Leverage data and insights to streamline workflows and enhance processes.
- Tool & Business Case Development: Define requirements, evaluate solutions, and create robust business cases that articulate trade-offs, risks, costs, and resource implications to support investment and prioritization decisions.
- 5–10 years of experience in project or program management, with a strong focus on operational excellence or enterprise change management.
- Deep understanding of organizational functions, including operational partners, centers of excellence, and operational technology.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex projects using both SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and communicate across all levels of the organization.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and process mapping tools (e.g., Visio).
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities; able to synthesize complex data to drive decisions and actions.
- Abide by security policies and practices;
- Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of information being accessed;
- Report any suspected information security violation or breach, and
- Complete all periodic mandatory security trainings.
