The Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the position of Team Lead for our Banking and Business Team.

As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for guiding your team towards successful project delivery while providing technical leadership through coaching and mentorship.

You will oversee daily stand-ups to ensure all team members are aware of the different areas they are working on, as well as ensure knowledge of solutions under the team's responsibility is extended across team members.

In addition, you will escalate any performance issues with HR and Head of Software, maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits, and fully own the solutions under your team's responsibility.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  1. Define user stories, tasks, and timelines that need to be carried out in line with assigned projects.
  2. Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship.
  3. Educate team members about various technologies and methodologies.
  4. Maintain high standards of software quality within the team.
  5. Oversee the collection and documentation of user requirements together with Business Analysts.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in software development using C#, .NET, and SQL Server technologies.
  • Proven experience in dynamic retail and corporate banking settings.
  • Experience in a variety of software development approaches and methodologies.
  • Able to influence and drive projects to meet key milestones and overcome challenges.
  • A desire to remain technically capable and an expert in current technologies.
