Leadership Position

The Talent Acquisition department at Howard University seeks a qualified candidate to fill the National Associate and Regional Director position. This role is crucial in advancing the mission of the Howard University National Center for Entrepreneurship.

This individual will support the daily operations of the National Center, playing a critical leadership role in program strategy, partnership development, and national coordination of entrepreneurship initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design, planning, implementation, and evaluation of national entrepreneurship programs and capacity-building initiatives
  • Coordinating with communities across the country to support local entrepreneurship center development, student programming, and faculty training
  • Providing guidance to entrepreneurship centers and incubators on program design, student engagement, and partnership cultivation
  • Ensuring alignment of national programs with institutional needs, funder expectations, and impact metrics

Key Qualifications:

  • Relevant leadership experience in a complex, dynamic environment
  • Experience working with C-suite executives to build relationships and foster strategic partnerships
  • Strong project management skills and ability to analyze data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Requirements:

  • Master's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in higher education, entrepreneurship, nonprofit leadership, or economic development

The National Associate and Regional Director will collaborate with campus partners, funders, faculty, and student leaders to promote business innovation, entrepreneurship education, and venture creation.

This position requires strong leadership and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
