Accounts Receivable Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Administrator to handle cash inflow, collect payments from agents, and process, track, and record payments accurately, efficiently, and on time.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support the optimization of financial transactions and systems by reconciling payments and customer accounts
  • Communicate discrepancies to management, identify slow-paying customers, and enhance relationships with clients by communicating about past-due accounts
  • Assist in streamlining the accounts receivable process by identifying areas for improvement
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity in financial reporting and comply with national and local financial regulations
Key Tasks:
  • Liaise with the sales team to prepare and verify invoices to be sent to clients
  • Ensure invoices are prepared on our school management system and synced to the accounting software
  • Maintain accurate accounts receivable records to ensure timely ageing, credits, collections, uncollectible amounts, and bank deposits
  • Issue monthly statements to agents and follow up on outstanding payments
  • Complete weekly sales reconciliations
  • Liaise with the Financial Controller on sales performance
  • Perform other ad hoc sales-related tasks
Required Skills:
  • Strong mathematical skills and understanding of basic finance principles
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Google Drive
  • Able to maintain company confidences
  • Preferred experience in accounts receivable
