Job Title

A highly skilled Hard Surface Art Lead is required to lead and manage the creation of high-quality 3D models for a leading gaming company. The successful candidate will have experience in overseeing teams of artists, ensuring timely delivery of assets, and maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage a team of artists to create high-quality 3D models for our games.
  2. Develop and maintain processes to ensure efficient delivery of assets while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
  3. Collaborate with directors, production teams, and internal partners to evaluate, hire, and onboard vendors.
  4. Collect or generate detailed documentation, video reference, and examples of art asset production to support external vendors.
  5. Communicate clearly and effectively with vendors, providing feedback on modeling and paintwork.
Requirements
  • Experience in shipping AAA titles across multiple platforms.
  • Experienced in game art asset creation in various software packages including Maya, 3ds Max, Zbrush, Photoshop, Substance, etc.
  • Strong foundation in 3D modeling, UV mapping, and texturing.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
