We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Risk Management function.
- Oversee the company's credit risk from a strategic perspective.
- Develop and implement effective risk mitigation strategies to ensure adherence to desired business outcomes.
- Manage the company's Risk Management Policies & Procedures.
- Implement the company's Risk Monitoring Programme, ensuring it captures all business risk areas.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement standards, processes, programs, and best practices related to risk management.
- Drive the risk and control assessment reporting process, providing insights and recommendations to inform decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in risk management processes.
- Draft regular reports to the Risk Committee and Board of Directors as needed.
- Possess sufficient qualifications to obtain regulatory approval as a Risk Manager (for example FRM).
- Ideal experience in Loans and/or Credit facilities.
- Superior organization, excellent analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- In possession of, or working towards, a professional qualification in Risk Management.
- At least 3 years of previous work experience in a similar managerial role within the banking or financial sector.
- Highly computer literate with a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
