As a Senior Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and sales expansion for a leading organization. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute commercial strategies across your territory or key accounts, translating business objectives into effective sales initiatives to achieve volume of sales, product mix, and profit targets through negotiations or contract revisions.
About the Role- You will analyze businesses and proposals to facilitate decision-making by the business unit, conducting profitability analyses, creating proposals, and leading contract processes from start to close.
- You will conduct commercial visits to close direct sales contracts with target customers/industries (sales territory).
- You will establish relationships with internal support areas to ensure the implementation of organizational goals.
- You will coordinate presentations of product use or therapy, educational activities, or clinical presentations with other involved parties.
- You will identify, predict, and mitigate market-related risks.
- You will propose strategic alternatives for business growth.
- You will prospect, establish, and strengthen relationships with major customers and Key Decision Makers, focusing on priorities, concentrating efforts on target customers to maximize penetration and profitability.
- You will reinforce relationships with major health administrators in government and private organizations.
- You will participate in tenders together with public authorities in the industry.
- You will monitor sales budget vs. forecast and gross profit regularly.
- You will identify, maintain high-level relationships, and act directly with major stakeholders at customers, as well as know the purchase decision process, defining commercial strategies for each and determining new business opportunities.
- You will monitor market competition and trends, signaling opportunities/risks and accelerating relevant actions.
- You will participate in commercial planning related to the segment under your responsibility.
- You will evaluate the performance of the territory under your responsibility, monitoring development to maintain achievement of goals or making adjustments to the sales strategy plan.
- Analytical Skills: You must have strong analytical skills to analyze businesses and proposals, conduct profitability analyses, and create proposals.
- Negotiation Skills: You must have excellent negotiation skills to close direct sales contracts with target customers/industries.
