About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will collaborate closely with data analysts and scientists to deliver high-quality data insights that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable data pipelines in production environments using cutting-edge technologies.
  • Work with various data technology stacks, including relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Develop and deploy new data models in production environments.
  • Triage infrastructure issues and resolve them in collaboration with data infrastructure teams.
  • Design, build, and launch data extraction, transformation, and loading processes in production environments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field, or equivalent experience as a Software Engineer.
  • Advanced experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, or Scala.
  • Strong knowledge of computer science, data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Effective technical mentorship skills.
  • Experience with Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery.
  • Knowledge of Linux and shell programming tools.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with big data technologies and solutions (Spark, Hadoop, Hive, MapReduce).
  • AWS services like EC2, S3, Aurora, RDS, Redshift, Kinesis, Lambda, Glue, and others.
  • Data visualization models, data marts, BI data stores, and SQL query optimizations.
