Brazilian Translation and Localization Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our translation team as an intern. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the localization industry, develop key linguistic and commercial skills, and learn from experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Translate and post-edit various text types from source languages into English;
- Review source and target translations for accuracy and consistency;
- Complete other linguistic tasks as requested, such as LSO, target-only review, and conversion;
- Work consistently to defined productivity metrics for all linguistic tasks and achieve specified productivity and utilization targets;
- Maintain adherence to quality standards for all tasks.
- Enrollment in a translation-related or similar field of study;
- Excellent Brazilian Portuguese language skills;
- Excellent English language skills;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Good written/verbal communication skills;
- Flexibility and ability to work to a deadline;
- Ambition and a desire to learn and progress.
