Role of a Nutrition Technician

As a Nutrition Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. This is an opportunity to work with a leading hospitality company where you will assist our Nutritionists in maintaining procedures on good practices in food handling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete and organize worksheets of control records
  • Implement and enforce procedures of Food Safety in Food and Beverage team
  • Check the quality of raw material in receipt
  • Follow procedures of out site catering
  • Follow the Nutritionist in monthly technical visits to suppliers of raw materials
  • Daily monitoring of production and distribution of food
  • Attend to guest requests regarding nutrition
  • Attend the authorities of sanitary inspection, when required
  • Focus the controls in the food security of the guest and team
  • Participate in training that are offered for your professional development

Requirements:

  • Technical Training in Nutrition
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Leadership skills with the kitchen staff
  • Good interpersonal relationship
  • Ability to perform tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to train people
  • Capacity for critical analysis
  • Organization/ discipline
  • Ability to work in team
  • Positive Attitude
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Previous experience in industrial kitchen
  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene
