Solution Area Specialist

Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to identify opportunities for digital transformation and drive revenue growth through personal campaigns and internal sources.
- Collaborate with team members to discover new opportunities and build pipeline, leveraging customer insights and industry knowledge.
- Interface with customers and build relationships via social selling, applying Microsoft's sales process to determine opportunity quality and proceed accordingly.
- Identify opportunities to drive consumption and grow business with existing customers, ensuring rapid and robust deployment plans.
- Contribute to the development of solutions in collaboration with internal teams, partners, and services, proposing prioritized solutions that align with customers' needs.
- Implement strategies to accelerate deal closure, contributing input on strategies to drive and close prioritized opportunities.
Scaling and Collaboration:
- Collaborate with One Commercial Partner (OCP) and a network of partners to cross-sell and up-sell, identifying new partners and developing joint proposals.
- Apply the orchestration model to leverage and expand relationships with internal stakeholders and partners, navigating the MSFT organization to bring the best impact to the customer.
Technical Expertise:
- Lead conversations and set up events within Microsoft, mentoring others and developing strategies for best practice sharing across subsidiaries.
- Collaborate with 'compete' global black belts (GBB) to analyze competitor products, solutions, and/or services, implementing strategies to position Microsoft against competitors in customer communication.
Sales Excellence:
- Collaborate with partners and resources, leveraging customer insights or industry knowledge to explore business and emerging opportunities.
- Review feedback reports and coach others on ensuring customer/partner satisfaction and decreasing dissatisfaction by establishing recovery action plans.
- Manage and/or orchestrate sales and delivery success through the account team and pursuit team, engaging with internal and external stakeholders on business planning.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years technology-related sales or account management experience, or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field and 4+ years technology-related sales or account management experience.
