Job Summary:

We seek an Employee Relations and Compliance Professional to join our team. This role plays a key part in maintaining a positive, ethical, and compliant work environment by managing employee relations matters and supporting compliance initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
  • Conduct workplace investigations regarding misconduct, grievances, or policy violations in a fair and timely manner.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies, labor laws, and ethical standards, especially regarding disciplinary actions, performance management, and terminations.
  • Partner with Legal, HR Ops, HRBPs, and business leaders to identify and address trends in employee relations matters and recommend proactive solutions.
  • Monitor compliance with labor and employment regulations, both local and international, where applicable.
  • Support the rollout and continuous improvement of compliance programs (e.g., Code of Conduct, anti-harassment, whistleblower channels, trainings).
  • Draft and maintain clear documentation related to cases, compliance initiatives, and audits.
  • Develop training sessions and communication materials on compliance and employee conduct topics.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and HR to ensure consistent interpretation and application of policies.
  • Track and report metrics related to employee relations and compliance, offering insights for leadership decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Human Resources, Psychology, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in employee relations, HR compliance, or related areas.
  • Solid understanding of labor and employment law, especially in the [insert country] context.
  • Experience in conducting workplace investigations and managing sensitive employee matters.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to handle complex and confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and propose structured solutions.
  • Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in multinational tech companies or cross-border environments.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, FCPA, LGPD/GDPR).
  • Certification in HR or Compliance is a plus.
