Senior Software Engineering Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead our development team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of software products from conception to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define quality standards and development processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
  • Be part of the Enterprise Architecture team and contribute to Application Architecture practice.
  • Manage a team of developers and provide guidance and support to ensure they are able to perform at their best.
  • Oversee the development of software products from conception to delivery, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet business requirements and are aligned with overall strategy.
  • Implement and improve processes for software development, including agile methodologies, code reviews, and automated testing.
  • Ensure that projects are delivered with appropriate documentation and knowledge transfer to support maintenance and future development.
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, quality, and overall team performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software development to inform future development and team strategy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, including experience managing development teams.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in multiple programming languages and software development tools (.NET and Java are a plus).
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and software development best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in complex environment and manage changes, assess risk and provide guidance for C-Level decision making.
  • Previous experiences with global teams and environments are a plus.

Technical Skills:

  • Agile methodologies and governance.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms and services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of DevOps principles and tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • English at professional level.
  • Spanish is a plus.
  • Previous experience with LEANIX and TOGAF are a plus.
  • Experience integrating products with ERP (SAP) is a plus.
  • Experience with Microservices and API design and maintenance is required.
  • Basic knowledge of Security standards and audit processes is a plus.
