Parts Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to provide top-notch service to our retail and installer customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Follow and promote excellent customer service programs such as product knowledge, sales techniques, and store operations.
  • Greet customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in selecting merchandise.
  • Assist management in serving professional customers as needed and directed.
  • Complete assigned company training relevant to the position.
  • Provide exceptional service to customers calling the store, including answering calls, looking up products and quoting prices, recommending premium items, and offering price matching guarantees.
  • Maintain and secure cash handling procedures, accept payments accurately, and process credit card transactions efficiently.
  • Process exchanges and returns for credit in accordance with company policies.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
  • Assist with daily operational tasks such as inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays.
  • Perform specialized services for customers where permitted by state and local laws (e.g., install wipers, test and charge batteries, inspect vehicle systems).
  • Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries when business needs dictate.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
  • Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
  • Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, and sales or service (desired).
  • ASE certification (desired).
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
