Parts Specialist Role
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to provide top-notch service to our retail and installer customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Follow and promote excellent customer service programs such as product knowledge, sales techniques, and store operations.
- Greet customers in a friendly, courteous manner and assist them in selecting merchandise.
- Assist management in serving professional customers as needed and directed.
- Complete assigned company training relevant to the position.
- Provide exceptional service to customers calling the store, including answering calls, looking up products and quoting prices, recommending premium items, and offering price matching guarantees.
- Maintain and secure cash handling procedures, accept payments accurately, and process credit card transactions efficiently.
- Process exchanges and returns for credit in accordance with company policies.
- Address and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Assist with daily operational tasks such as inventory management, merchandising, and visual displays.
- Perform specialized services for customers where permitted by state and local laws (e.g., install wipers, test and charge batteries, inspect vehicle systems).
- Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries when business needs dictate.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
- Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service.
- Must be able to multitask, handling customers on the phone and in the store simultaneously.
- Familiarity with automotive parts, cataloging, and sales or service (desired).
- ASE certification (desired).
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
