Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Artificial Intelligence Developer to join our team in building backend features for an existing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) service.

This is a key role in developing and optimizing RAG models for search across large-scale medical and scientific documents. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Building, training, and optimizing RAG models for scalable search systems.
  • Pre-processing and embedding over half a billion documents to ensure they are searchable and contextually accurate.
  • Improving the automated evaluation pipeline and fine-tuning Large Language Models (LLMs) for textual RAG use cases.
  • Collaborating with DevOps for production rollout and ensuring seamless deployments to non-prod environments.
Required Skills

To excel in this position, candidates should have:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Search Engineer or AI Engineer.
  • Strong knowledge of OpenSearch and its applications in building scalable search systems.
  • 2+ years of Python development experience, including API creation, model training, testing, and general backend programming.
  • Familiarity with LangChain for building LLM workflows using tools, memory, and retrieval.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work independently and provide clear updates to the team.
Bonus Requirements

Candidates with the following skills will be considered highly competitive:

  • Familiarity with AWS infrastructure (IAM, VPC, S3, etc.).
  • Exposure to RAG architectures, specifically textual RAG use cases.
