Trade Support Specialist

The Trade Support Specialist role involves supporting trade operations by providing timely and accurate information to various stakeholders.

This includes uploading market data, performing reconciliations, resolving queries, producing management statistics, and completing operations projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Data Uploads: Responsible for uploading market data to different risk management systems, ensuring seamless integration and accuracy.
  • Reconciliations: Performs reconciliations against market sources, control reconciliations, and front, middle, and back office reconciliations to verify trading positions.
  • Query Resolution: Investigates and resolves queries from settlements and confirmations, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Management Statistics: Produces management statistics to inform business decisions and drive process improvements.
  • Operations Projects: Completes operations projects and ad hoc requests for new initiatives and system implementations, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • Logical/Analytical Mindset: Possesses a strong logical and analytical mindset, able to challenge the status quo and provide innovative solutions.
  • Process Flow Understanding: Demonstrates a deep understanding of process flows and system linkages, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Finance Operations Experience: Previous experience in finance operations is preferred, with a focus on trade support and reconciliation.
  • Availability: Available to work flexible hours, including evening shifts.
  • Communication Skills: Exhibits excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders across various levels.
  • VBA Skills: VBA skills are a plus, with the ability to leverage technology to drive process improvements.
  • Education: A degree in Economics or Industrial Engineering is preferred but not required.
