Job Description

We're seeking an accomplished professional with a passion for empowering businesses to achieve their full potential.

This role requires expertise in AI/ML and GenAI, combined with business acumen and sales skills to position AWS as the cloud provider of choice for Startups.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and deploying programs that leverage AWS Field Solution Architect teams and technology and consulting partner channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build relationships with startup CxO/VP level executives to drive adoption, develop pipelines, secure lighthouse customers, and grow top-line revenue.
  • Become a trusted advisor within startup founders through technical thought leadership and demonstrate AWS values.
  • Collaborate with AWS Product and Technical teams to create solutions that solve customer problems, including reference architectures, patterns, automation, and release planning.
  • Deliver technical presentations and guided workshops to tech leaders and developers.
  • Mentor and support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts aligned to your domains.

Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years management of technical, customer-facing resources.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with machine learning algorithms, model development, common frameworks, workflow tools, and applied AI.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with Generative AI.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Startup background and experience at a VC or PE-backed firm in a Technical Executive capacity.
  • Familiarity with open-source software used by Startups and working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies common to Startups.
  • Strong data-based storytelling skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with Startup executives and developers.
  • Cloud expertise as demonstrated by one or more cloud certifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
  • Proficiency with design, deployment, and evaluation of LLM-powered agents and tools and orchestration approaches.
  • Advanced degree highly preferred such as engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.
