A Manager, Employee and Labor Relations role in Brazil.
About the Job:
Kenvue is seeking a skilled professional to manage employee relations and labor practices in our Brazilian office. This position reports to the ER/LR Sr. Manager LATAM and is based in São José dos Campos, Brazil.

As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and compliant handling of grievances, discipline, and policy interpretation requests. You will also investigate government agency charges, support collective bargaining agreement negotiations, and drive direct interventions with managers and employees on sensitive cases.

You will stay current on country employment and labor practices, ensure workplace policies are up-to-date and compliant with local laws, and notify management of regulatory changes. Additionally, you will develop ER/LR policies for the country, deliver training to ER professionals and People Leaders, and lead ER/LR projects.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage assigned operational activities to achieve target key performance indicators, operational level agreements, and service levels.
  • Ensure timely and compliant handling of all assigned grievance, discipline, and policy interpretation requests.
  • Investigate and prepare responses to government agency charges.
  • Support collective bargaining agreement negotiations and contract administration.
  • Drive direct interventions with Managers and employees on most sensitive cases and or escalations.
  • Stay current on country employment and labor practices.
  • Develop ER/LR policies for country.
  • Deliver ER/LR training for ER professionals, BUHR, and People Leaders.
  • Lead ER/LR projects.
  • Deliver ER/LR change and communications work.

What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 6 years of progressive HR experience, including experience in Employee Relations, Labor Relations, and HR Generalist. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, operate as a global leader with understanding and appreciation for regional differences, and proven success in establishing, managing, and empowering a global virtual team.

The successful candidate will have the ability to establish a culture focused on speed, accountability, and continuous improvement while building employee-centric repeatable and sustainable processes. They will also have relationship management, coaching, and collaboration skills, with leaders at all levels and key stakeholders, and experience using Service Center technologies, ticket management, knowledge management, telephony/IVR, document management, etc.
