Maintenance and Repair Specialist

Job Overview:

A skilled Maintenance and Repair Specialist is needed to maintain the health of our equipment, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency. This role involves performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and conducting repairs on various machines and systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in technical fields such as mechanics, automation, or electromechanics, with experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting mechanical parts;
  • Troubleshoot issues with machines and systems, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions;
  • Conduct repairs on hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, using specialized tools and equipment;
  • Operate welding machines and oxyacetylene torches to fabricate and repair metal components;
  • Demonstrate expertise in reading and interpreting designs, schemes, and diagrams of systems (mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic);
  • Show enthusiasm for continuous improvement, using data and metrics to drive process enhancements;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement solutions;
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Electromechanics, or related field;
  • Proven experience in maintenance and repair roles, with a focus on hydraulic and pneumatic systems;
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
