Job Description

The LATAM Legal Manager role is a critical position within our organization, responsible for managing labor litigation, administrative and judicial proceedings, and labor advisory matters across Latin America.

This role requires a high level of expertise in Labor Law, with the ability to manage complex legal portfolios, provide preventive labor law advisory, and support programs related to prevention of occupational disease and health & safety matters.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multinational companies, preferably in the industrial sector, with experience working with data management and process management systems.

Additionally, the candidate should have a proven ability to manage external law firms and control legal spend, as well as strong business orientation and ability to partner with HR, EHS, and business leaders.

The successful candidate will be fluent in English, with Spanish desirable for broader LATAM scope, and possess strong communication skills and ability to operate across diverse cultures.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law and active license to practice in Brazil.
  • Specialization and strong previous experience in Labor Law are mandatory requirements.
  • Master's degree in Labor Law is desirable.
  • Solid experience managing judicial and administrative labor proceedings and providing labor law advisory.
  • Professional background in multinational companies, preferably in the industrial sector.
  • Experience working with data management and process management systems.
  • Proven ability to manage external law firms and control legal spend.
  • Strong business orientation and ability to partner with HR, EHS, and business leaders.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is desirable for broader LATAM scope.
