On-Site Construction Manager

This is a challenging opportunity to work as a Site Civil Engineer. You will oversee and execute on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with contract specifications, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure site works meet contract requirements, quality, and safety standards.
- Prepare material submittals and track approvals.
- Develop method statements and risk assessments.
- Monitor procurement schedules and follow up on deliveries.
- Control approved drawings and as-built documentation.
- Inspect works, raise inspection requests, and coordinate with site teams.
- Report progress, delays, and site issues to senior management.
- Support testing, commissioning, and project close-out documentation.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of project site experience in construction or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Engineering degree with ≥ 10 years' site experience.
- Solid understanding of contract specifications, QA/QC, HSE, and programme controls.
- Proven ability to manage materials, documentation, and productivity on fast-track projects.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and pressure-handling skills; proactive mindset.
