Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Voice and Services Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development of new voice systems and services, working closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement and deliver innovative solutions.

About the Role

The Voice and Services Engineer will play a key role in defining and managing projects related to voice systems, collaborating with other networks teams to ensure seamless delivery of new solutions. This includes project delivery, network design, integration and migration strategy definition, as well as collaboration with other relevant departments.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage projects related to voice systems, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful delivery.
  • Design and implement new consumer and corporate telecom solutions, including technical documentation and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other networks teams to define and manage projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Perform implementations in live environments, understanding end-to-end system testing requirements.
  • Analyze and define quality and performance indicators, capacity and performance analysis, reporting and improvement solution definition.
  • Service & Resource configuration definition and implementation on requested systems.
  • Work on complex solutions that influence the design of current products and address design issues for future products or technologies.
  • Cultivate close relationships with external partners like carriers and service providers.
  • Manage the process for change requests to current partners to meet network necessities.
  • Control the network elements roadmap, responsible for software/hardware upgrades during components lifecycle.
  • Generate and implement process improvements, including cross-team processes.
  • Document existing technology portfolio and propose recommendations for improvements and/or alternatives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in voice systems engineering and development.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions.
  • Strong technical documentation and maintenance skills.
  • Experience with network design, integration and migration strategy definition.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
