Responsibilities
  • Design suitable study designs for qualitative and mixed-methods analyses.
  • Evaluate the implementation, impact, and sustainability of innovative educational programs and tools.
  • Integrate evidence from multiple sources to inform system improvement and identify new research needs.
  • Lead partnerships with diverse stakeholders to formulate research questions and plans.
  • Present research findings through various knowledge products and represent the employer at professional conferences.
Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in education or a closely related social science field with a focus in education.
  • Demonstrated experience in education-related research and functioning as a knowledge broker across diverse roles.
  • Strategic leadership and management experience in research-practice partnerships or networks within K-12 or postsecondary settings.
  • Proficiency in traditional educational research methods and mixed-methods research skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience conducting formative and summative evaluations for external stakeholders.
  • Thorough knowledge of education research, policy, or learning sciences, particularly from an equity perspective.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple constituencies including education administrators, researchers, and policymakers.
