Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the financial operations of our manufacturing facilities, including cost accounting, financial reporting, and process improvement.

You will work closely with our leadership team to drive transformation and cost excellence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives. Your expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting will enable you to provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve plant performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading cost accounting operations, including standard and actual cost development, product costing analysis, and financial reporting
  • Managing all financial aspects of our manufacturing facilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in plant finance and/or cost accounting, preferably within a consumer products environment
  • Experience with Bills of Materials and SAP (superuser preferred)
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., macros, pivot tables)
  • Leadership skills: ability to influence, manage, and motivate teams while fostering collaboration and results-driven performance
  • Technical expertise: deep understanding of manufacturing and cost accounting, with experience in developing complex financial models
