Product Strategy Manager

Job Overview

The Product Strategy Manager is a key role responsible for leading and optimizing operations in the development and execution of local product portfolios. This involves aligning strategies with OEM global guidelines, ensuring accurate communication of customer needs and market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute local product strategies to meet customer needs and stay ahead of market trends.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle (planning, homologation, launch, pricing, updates, and phase-out) according to OEM standards.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to support strategic positioning and volume planning.
  • Develop and implement product launch plans, coordinating with Sales, Marketing, Aftersales, Training, and Dealer Network teams.
  • Monitor product KPIs (sales volumes, margins, customer satisfaction, residual values) and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support dealer network with product knowledge, training materials, and commercial tools.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations while maintaining OEM brand identity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience in product management or marketing within the automotive OEM environment.
  • Proven track record in product lifecycle management and vehicle launch projects.
  • Strong understanding of the Brazilian automotive market, legislation, and consumer trends.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic, and project management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English.
  • Desirable: Experience in electric vehicles, hybrid, or connected car technologies.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of OEM financial planning processes.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with dealer network operations and customer experience strategies.
