Job Title: Safety Assurance Manager

Alstom is seeking a highly skilled Safety Assurance Manager to join our team in Sao Paulo. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for performing safety analyses and ensuring that our projects and products meet the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform safety analyses at system, subsystem, and equipment levels to identify and mitigate risks
  • Develop and implement safety requirements and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safety is integrated into all aspects of project development
  • Manage and support safety assurance engineers to ensure timely and quality delivery of safety activities
  • Interface with external and internal stakeholders, including customers, project teams, and safety consultants
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Desirable knowledge of railway and signalling, electronics, and CENELEC standards
  • Advanced English language skills, with Spanish proficiency
  • Ability to work under pressure, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive behavior, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
