The Maintenance Operative will provide critical support to the Chief Engineer in maintaining the overall condition of tools, equipment, and working areas within the hotel.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks in hotel rooms and public areas.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all operating equipment is functioning correctly.
- Collaborate with the Engineering Team on projects and schedules.
- Ensure tools, equipment, and working areas are properly maintained.
- Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines within the Department and the hotel.
- Deliver exceptional customer service when interacting with Guests.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Chief Engineer for smooth hotel operations.
- Previous experience in maintenance, preferably in a hotel or similar environment.
- A certificate in Engineering is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong work ethic.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects and tasks throughout the day.
