Job Description">

We are seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our diverse team at our facility in Osasco, Brazil. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly process in an assembly cell from set-up to testing.

">Responsibilities">
  • Monitor and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment used in the assembly process to build hydrostatic pumps, motors, and components.
  • Provide line support for the assembly cell and serve as the next level of escalation after the cell expert for manufacturing issues related to safety and process quality.
  • Assist in the daily activities of implementing process changes and problem-solving on the shop floor.
  • Contribute to the proof-out of new processes and process changes by gathering data, observing the process, and communicating ideas to improve results.
  • Work closely with the Process Engineer.
">Required Skills and Qualifications">

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A minimum of an AA degree or equivalent from a technical school and 6 months of related experience on Danfoss products.
  • A desire for a 4-year degree in Industrial Technology, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering/Agricultural Engineering.
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Working knowledge of quality/problem-solving tools (PPAP, Capability studies, PFMEA, Gauge R&R, 4-Step, 8D, Fishbone).
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office, PLC, and test stand.
  • Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics.
  • Familiarity with TPM and SMED techniques.
  • Customer Service mindset and ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Outstanding safety record and approach to behavioral-based safety using proper PPE.
