**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Director, Pharmacovigilance Operations to lead our department's operations and ensure the effectiveness of our safety processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Oversee the department's operations, including safety processes, resource utilization, scope of work, budget, and contractual issues.
  • Develop and implement processes and strategies to meet departmental and company goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant company policies, procedures, and global regulations.
  • Guide managers and train project team members as needed.
  • Assist in business development and foster client relationships.
  • Review and provide operational input on budgets, proposals, contracts, and renewals.
  • Manage a team of experienced professionals, including interviewing, selection, job description preparation, professional development, goal setting, performance management, coaching, and mentoring.

**Requirements**:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualification.
  • 10+ years of experience, including 5+ years of management responsibility and proven leadership skills.

**Working Conditions and Environment**:

Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment. Daily exposure to high pressure and intense concentration. Daily interactions with clients/associates. Long, varied hours on occasion. Travel required occasionally domestic and/or international.
