Job Description

As an Automation Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining an automated material handling system and ensuring continuous system operation by troubleshooting, repairing, testing, and performing preventive maintenance.

You will work with various equipment, including conveyor systems, robotic arms, and End Of Arm Tools. Your role will involve diagnosing issues, replacing components, and performing repairs to ensure the smooth operation of the system.

Additionally, you will assist in the training of other automation team technicians and document repairs, PMs, parts usage, and time by completing work orders in a computerized maintenance management system.


Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems (single and three phase)
  • Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs and network diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Welding skills with stick or MIG
  • Site inspections, equipment inspections, mechanical repairs and replacements
  • MS Office programs: Excel, Word and Outlook; ability to work independently following procedures and manuals
