Operations Process Assistant

This role involves the execution of administrative tasks and coordination relating to front-line operations, including data entry, ramp activities, sort activities, trace activities, despatch activities, and local customer service. While operational tasks may be part of these roles, the majority of time is spent on office-based activities.

  • Lead or senior levels of these positions may handle escalated or more complex issues, coordinate team activities or those of agency contract staff, support supervisor or manager activities, and support the design, review, and implementation of processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Receipt, release, and shipment of cargo;
  • Support in defining, reviewing, implementing, and improving organizational processes, operational flows, and performance indicators of the sector;
  • Issuing reports of loads in the warehouse and en route of vendors' drivers with daily accountability of operational activities and routines of the sector;
  • Supporting in coordinating operational teams' activities (Handlers);
  • Monitoring Vendors Drivers' activities;
  • Controlling and handling pending issues and returns;
  • Monitoring of indicators and accountability to management and external customers, when necessary preparing material and presentations, including participation in meetings with customers.
  • Other duties as assigned may include.
Requirements and Expectations:
  • Proven experience in administrative tasks;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure;
  • Basic knowledge of process analysis and improvement methods;
  • Competency in Microsoft Office suite applications.
