We are seeking a professional to oversee surge operations and optimize our logistics framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and refine surge logic across restaurant, zone, and event-based triggers.
  • Collaborate with product and business intelligence teams to define surge eligibility rules and automation opportunities.
  • Monitor system performance to balance cost, availability, and service quality.
  • Identify edge cases and develop systematic response models for markets with unique challenges.
  • Benchmark industry practices and propose improvements to the surge framework.
  • Liaise with regional and city leads to gather operational feedback and translate it into product requirements.
  • Document standard operating procedures and build dashboards/tools to track surge effectiveness and fleet responsiveness.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in supply/operations strategy, product operations, or logistics planning (food delivery, ride-hailing, Q-commerce preferred).
  • Proven track record of designing or optimizing operational frameworks, with experience in freelance-heavy or gig-based labor markets as an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and systems thinking skills, comfort with data dashboards and basic product flows.
  • Able to synthesize on-ground feedback into scalable standard operating procedures and product recommendations.
