The Senior Facilities Manager is a critical role that oversees the management of retail branch locations in Northern Virginia and Washington DC area. This position involves ensuring that all facilities meet the expected level of service delivery as described in Service Level Agreements and measured by Key Performance Indicators (KPI).

This role will work closely with Regional Managers and the Corporate Real Estate team to deliver quality facility management services.

  • Maintain interface with third-party owners, ensuring total contract compliance, accurate and timely reporting, and resolving critical impact tenant relations issues.
  • Provide overall facility services in accordance with accounts' standard processes and procedures, including application of policies and programs, coordination of information.
  • Ensure compliance with portfolio-wide initiatives and required local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the operation of facilities entrusted to the Facility Partners to manage on behalf of clients as owners.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with Client Branch Managers and Operations teams.
  • Primary interface with client representatives; collaborate to determine client expectations; ensure delivery of committed services and overall satisfaction with performance.
  • Oversee multiple facilities across the region in different functionalities; portfolio covers the following states: Northern Virginia and Washington DC area.
  • Inspect buildings routinely to guarantee that building services are at the highest level of quality standards.
  • Conduct monthly onsite facilities inspections; or more as needed for assigned portfolio approximately 50 - 60 Retail Sites. To include annual capital planning condition assessments.
  • Assist Regional Manager with occasional regional inspections at other Mid-Atlantic areas within client portfolio.
  • Manage third-party contractors/vendors engaged in operating and maintaining properties.
  • Supervise vendor performance during normal and off-hours, including weekends when necessary.
  • Support Regional Manager to bid and contract for operational maintenance and project services as needed with fast market expansion.
  • Portfolio realignment may be needed based on client expansion and portfolio management needs.
  • Prepare, submit, and manage facility budgets with clients' goals and objectives addressed; track variances and ensure smooth recovery process.
  • Support prompt collection of management fees and reimbursements from 3rd party tenants occupying space with accounts' owned premises.">

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Knowledge of standard business and accounting practices.
  • Knowledge of Excel and ability to analyze data.">
