Job Description

The key objective of this role is to spearhead the Customer Solution Center (CSC) in achieving customer intimacy and trust in the Novelis South America region.

This will involve leading the CSC team in driving value-creating partnerships, gaining deep customer insights, facilitating adoption of product and process innovations, supporting growth, and addressing customer sustainability goals.

The work of the CSC will include co-development of solutions with customers, engagement with other partners in the supply chain, and in-customer plant support and collaboration.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead a highly specialized team of engineers and technicians in partnership with customer engineering and operational teams to enable adoption of solutions involving new Can and End designs, Can and End light-weighting, modeling and prototyping, advanced sensors and data analytics, optimal tuning of metal and customer performance, and new coatings.
  2. Develop solutions that meet customer needs and are aligned with the Can R&D roadmap.
Key Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, as well as experience in managing cross-functional teams and developing strategic business plans.

They should have a strong understanding of the metals industry and be able to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
