Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at American Axle & Manufacturing, Inc. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating equipment to produce high-quality products that meet customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with Machining Line Production Supervisor/Team Leader to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment.
  • Learn and apply skills in safety, productivity, proper machine operation, conduct, housekeeping/5S, quality, and use of documented procedures and instructions.
  • Review and verify the quality of products at your assigned process and provide feedback to leadership.
  • Rotate to different operations as assigned by leadership and facilitate communication between operations.
  • Complete Operation Productivity & Scrap Accountability Logsheets and update area communication boards.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Manufacturing Machining experience preferred.
