Job Overview
  • Originating mortgage loans involves working with realtors, builders, and developers to assist customers in identifying and securing a suitable loan for their financial circumstances.
  • Developing referral sources requires maintaining regular contact with key stakeholders to discuss lending options related to clients they have building homes or seeking opportunities to meet with developers.
  • Collecting and analyzing applicant's financial information is crucial to assess the financial circumstances and determine whether the applicant and property qualify for a particular loan.
  • Engaging in customer-specific persuasive sales activity encourages potential customers to do business with our company and cross-promote other services and financial products.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Originate mortgage loans and follow up with customers and prospective customers via telephone and email communication.
  • Analyzing pertinent financial and credit data ensures conformity with terms and regulatory compliance.
  • Preparing materials needed to support employee's loan activities and attending company meetings as necessary.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Recent residential mortgage lending experience of 1 or more years is preferred.
  • Ability to develop referral sources from contacts and relationships outside the organization is essential.
