The role of Strategic Procurement Leader is a pivotal position within our organization, overseeing the indirect sourcing categories for the LATAM Region.

This includes Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, and Uruguay, with a focus on creating local sourcing strategies aligned with global and regional goals. The successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Manager Strategic Sourcing in Switzerland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage business stakeholders across the LATAM region and globally, serving as the primary point of contact for Procure to Pay initiatives.
  • Foster strategic sourcing of goods and services at competitive prices, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that safeguard our interests.
  • Continuously monitor market trends and leading practices to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Cultivate relationships with suppliers, evaluating their capabilities and risks before and during partnerships.
  • Translate business needs into procurement opportunities, driving significant value to our operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement or a similar field.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of sourcing strategies.
  • A team-oriented mindset, with flexibility and adaptability.
  • Prior experience in international pharmaceuticals or regulated environments is a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish are essential.
