Dow presents an exciting opportunity for a Business Process Manager, located in Brazil.

Role Overview - Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will take charge of the analysis, design, implementation, and enhancement of digital business processes, delivering advanced operational capabilities within a specified function. You will collaborate closely with functional and business experts to align operational models and processes with IT-enabled digital solutions. You will orchestrate both functional and technical analysis and design of processes, focusing on simplification, automation, efficiency, and reliability. Additionally, you will oversee the development, optimization, implementation, and adoption of IT solutions integrated with our corporate ERP landscape, while identifying opportunities for innovation through digital capabilities to accelerate Dow's digital transformation.

This role requires a comprehensive understanding of your discipline or functional area. You will need to be familiar with best practices and their interrelations. You may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements and serve as a resource for less experienced colleagues. You should also be capable of conveying complex or sensitive information and working towards consensus with others.

Your responsibilities will include analyzing and resolving intricate problems, examining information from various sources, and using judgment to evaluate both established and new solutions. Your performance will impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within your team and related teams, necessitating adherence to established guidelines and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Mapping – Investigate, analyze, and map business processes; identify and model critical process activities. Analysis – Detail critical process activities, pinpoint bottlenecks and sub-optimal paths; model process flows (e.g., supplier invoicing issues). Performance – Establish controls, measures, and KPIs for process performance and reliability. Optimization – Identify, test, and validate options for continuous improvement and significant enhancements. IT Enablement / Digitalization – Participate in projects to design process-based requirements, functional design, and technical design for business process enabling solutions, driving the full solution lifecycle for ERP functional design/configuration, workflow and dataflow integration (end-to-end approach), automation (RPA), and testing and implementation. End-to-End Integration – Collaborate with other Business Process Managers for comprehensive process optimization and integration. Support – Provide process and functional support regarding financial reports, purchase orders, invoices, and accruals. Business Value – Assist in translating process performance (effectiveness, efficiency) into business performance (productivity, reliability, growth) measured through value realization. Process Expertise – Support and cultivate a community of Business Process experts and act as a thought leader in a specific domain.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, general business, or IT discipline preferred. 8 years of relevant experience. Strong knowledge of SAP. Previous experience with Process Mapping and Process Expertise. Proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
