Digital Process Transformation Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Process Transformation Expert to spearhead the digitization of our flexible pipeline manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes across global production sites.
The role combines strategic leadership, technical expertise, and collaborative skills to ensure production technologies remain robust, cost-effective, and scalable. This position drives best-in-class process standards and supports knowledge transfer across departments.
The Specialist Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to review and execute Manufacturing Execution System (MES) implementations and Industry 4.0 solutions, such as IoT-enabled equipment, data analytics, and automation, that enhance production efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing digital transformation strategies aligned with business goals and manufacturing needs.
- Assessing current processes and reviewing lessons learned from previous systems or digital initiatives to identify improvement opportunities and avoid past pitfalls in new implementations.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams of engineers, technicians, and IT specialists in deploying new digital tools and processes on the factory floor.
- Fostering an innovative culture by encouraging experimentation with emerging technologies and promoting continuous learning.
- Integrating digital solutions that streamline workflows, reduce downtime, and enhance real-time decision-making in manufacturing operations.
- Communicating the vision and value of new systems to all stakeholders and providing training and support to staff to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and processes.
- Ensuring all implemented digital systems and processes comply with industry standards for safety, quality control, and cybersecurity.
- Strong technical knowledge of IoT, automation, and data systems.
- Proven track record of leading digital initiatives in an industrial setting, including defining roadmaps and implementing technologies such as automation systems, IoT sensor deployments, data analytics platforms, or MES on the shop floor.
- Familiarity with ERP and MES integration, manufacturing data platforms, and industrial cybersecurity standards.
- Competence in data-driven decision-making using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
