Overview:

A Production Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our offshore facilities. This role involves start-up, operation, monitoring, and shutdown of process and utility systems, as well as maintaining discharge water quality within current guidelines.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Process Monitoring and Operation:
      • Start up, operate, monitor, and shut down process and utility systems.
      • Monitor, maintain, and optimize process parameters (level, flow, temperature, pressure, etc.) within operating requirements.
      • Ensure sampling is carried out and sample results are acted upon.
    • Maintenance Support:
      • Facilitate maintenance operations by applying/removing isolations as required.
      • Operation under PTW system, Toolbox Talk, and Risk Assessments.
      • Advise maintenance personnel on hazards of plant and equipment.
    • Marine/Safety Operations
      • Carry out all operations in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
      • Report all discharges, leaks, spills, injuries, and incidents immediately.
      • Ensure vendor and subcontract personnel understand and comply with current environmental regulations.
    • Interpersonal Skills & Suitability
      • Control activities of vendor and subcontractor personnel.
      • Create and maintain effective working relationships.
      • Create and maintain positive work culture.
  • Main Requirements:
  • Technical knowledge and skills in Process Control and Instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with maintenance operations and procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead when necessary.
