As a seasoned professional in external communications, you will lead Roku's efforts to build awareness for our brand and products among consumers, content publishers, and advertisers in Brazil.

Your key responsibilities will include advising on strategy, building and executing communication campaigns and events while managing local PR, social media, and production agencies. You will also maintain strategic alignment with global and regional leads on communications and social media initiatives.

  • Develop and execute public relations campaigns aimed at increasing the company's profile in Brazil.
  • Build relationships with top communications counterparts at major media and tech companies to showcase Roku's collaborations with its partners.
  • Assist in developing relationships with influencers and trending themes to bring new opportunities to the company.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new services and devices to the market.
  • Support product review programs to ensure devices score high marks.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 10+ years of experience in public relations (both in-house and at an agency).
  • Proven expertise in related industries such as technology, streaming TV, or digital advertising.
  • Knowledge of the connected TV advertising world.
  • Experience translating creative ideas into successful campaigns.
  • Excellent media and influencer relationships, as well as agencies contacts.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage budgets and priorities effectively.
