**Job Summary**

This individual is a strategic, full-stack user experience senior designer with hands-on human centered design thinking, UX/UI, research, service design, prototyping, facilitation, and strong client-facing skills. The professional will deliver polished UX/UI artifacts and human-centric digital design expertise for our clients where advisory services are needed.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Execute high-quality client immersions, design sprints, co-creation and other engagements (through all phases of design) in partnership with the regional and market consultants.

• Maintain the highest standards of experience design delivery from wireframes to prototypes, extending that polish and strategic thinking to creating extensible and scalable design tools and assets for our practice.

• Support the planning and execution of hands-on research activities (qualitative and quantitative) to gain customer insights to fuel our co-creation process.

• Be proactive in advocating for design research and user needs through delivering engaging and actionable insights.

• Ability to justify research and design decisions based on a thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies, and quickly propose possible solutions to UX issues.

• Fluency across design specializations and deep dive expertise in prototyping, research, UI, front end development, facilitation, product design.

• Support design operations needs as required including but not limited vendor relationships, design briefs, global design initiatives, and others.

• Deeply understanding of the payment ecosystem, commerce trends, newest technologies, as well as Visa products, services, and capabilities to effectively design for our clients and partners.

• Work with our cross-functional advisory, product, technology, and business teams to ensure alignment and project success.

• Coordinate and provide direction to third-party design agencies all the activities required for each engagement.

• Ensure compliance with Visa's processes and requirements for client engagements and activities.

**Requirements**

• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a bachelor's degree in design or similar or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

• Trilingual, English, Portuguese and Spanish (verbal and written)

• Preferred Qualifications:

• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree in Design or similar or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD

• 5+ years working as a product or digital designer as part of an in-house, agency, or cross-functional design or innovation team.

• Ability to work with minimal guidance in a fast paced, ambiguous work environment, with the capacity of independently translate high level guidance into detailed deliverables.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving, empathic interpersonal, facilitation skills and proven track record running client engagements.
