Mechanical Engineer for Dry-Type Transformers

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Research and Development team in Blumenau, where you will contribute to the development of dry-type transformers.

As a Mechanical Engineer, your primary focus will be on proposing improvements to the mechanical design of dry-type transformers. You will define experiments to validate new solutions and supervise the manufacturing and testing of prototypes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Propose improvements to the mechanical design of dry-type transformers
  • Define experiments to validate new solutions
  • Supervise the manufacturing and testing of prototypes
  • Lead R&D projects focused on cost, timeline, and performance
  • Document results and define design rules
  • Support fellow R&D colleagues in various projects
  • Provide technical support to factories and customers
  • Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines

The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and have hands-on experience with mechanical prototyping. Additionally, they should demonstrate creativity, attention to detail, and innovative thinking.
